alhamdulillah... semalam selamat sampai ke brisbane.. seronok... penat.. tak hilang lagi sebenarnye.. tapi seronok.. sbb dah balik rumah.. it feel so good when u r at home... ok meh citer pasal field trip dulu... banyak nak citer nih... rajin bace.. bace la sampai habis yek...

1st July 2003

i started my day with a little crap morning... then off to train station... thanks a bunch to najwa for helping me carrying my bag to the train station.. not that its heavy.. but... its very nice to have u in company.. thank you again... i dont know why am i feel so bad to leave brisbane... but u have to leave it anyway... everybody was gone.. huda went to sydney... the gals went to melb... it feel so bad... when u left behind.. fuh... nih baru kawan2... mcm mana plak suami nanti... ili said to me.. alah kimah... kimah lagi banyak tinggalkan org dari huda kan... huda baru pegi skali... hehehe sian huda... mmg everytime cuti... ill go to somewhere else... cuti panjang la... nih dia baru gi sydney awal sehari dari kau pun nak bising... ape la kimah.... ok... that was the left behind story...

anyway ive make my way to train station... 4 bags... main bag.. backpack.. sleeping bag.. and my precious camera... fuh... i went to farmasi... before getting off the train... ok... nice and steady weight... hope this will be the same by the time i came back home... :)

arrive at rockhampton at 9:58.. sue and massimo came and pick us up... that night ... i got a private all girls room with vivien, jessica, and angela.. dinner... pumpkin soup... a really nice and yummy one... broccoli, beans.. and potato... the cook is Judith... shes a bit grumpy from what people said about her... massimo give a talk on the schedule... then we off to bed...

First day in the field... alhamdulillah... vivien.. and brigid.. is my groupmate... no man in the group means ... the work can be done my way... no man in the group means... i dont have to worry about ciggerate smoking... and drunk man... no man in the group means... work a bit slower.. for the gals... its all right... bukan semua lelaki boleh diterima pakai.. especially ausies... fuh.... its really... i mean... really really hard to find one... this is the pic from the field area




first day on the field... massimo give a tour... to all the sequence... then he asked us to do a strag sequence on the western site of the field... duh... we got lost... hello dear... u got lost on the first day?? but lucky we made the best decision to go via the road... and finally we get back to the car... and alhamdulillah... we werent the last person...

i had a fight with vivien... techinical stuff... the sky is magnificient... amazing bulan sabit... subhanallah... suddenly i realized that tears coming out my eyes... i cant stand this anymore... ya Allah.. aku nak balik.... we get back to the camp... had a shower... fuh... amik wudhu solat... fuh... alhamdulillah released kejap.. then suddenly ... fuh... i need to talk to someone... i called my dearest suria... alhamdulillah.. thank you suria... for hearing to my story... kimah remember... if you think that u have been through with all the hardship... all the ujian from Allah... u are definitely... totally wrong... there are people out there who has been sacrificed their life... their time... their money... sacrifice everything only for Allah... what have u done... nothing.... nothing compare to what they have been through....

Allah sayangkan kau suria... bersabar bnyak2... insyaAllah... there Allah will always be with you... kau bukan calang2 orang utk terima ujian cam tu.... aku minta maaf sebb kurang kasik support kat kau.... insyaAllah... kau akan dpt menda yg jauh lebih baik dari menda yg ko tak dpt tu.... senyum ye sayang... :) thank you again for the story... it really impact me a lot... betapa hinanya aku kat dunia nih... nangis... rasa dah diuji dgn teruk hanya semata2 kerana that fight... kimah .. kimah.... wake up...

second day of the field.. alhamdulillah we covered 30%... of the field area... we found this... bioclastic limestone.. full with fossil in it...

and oolitic limestone... made up of ooids.. and maybe cemented by microcrystalline calcite... these are two major lithological unit in the area...

we are a bit behind from others... i fall down 4 times... and left my pen.. clipboard.. map... and compass... brigid wont let me hold anything again... she has it all.. heheh... vivien said... you are so organised in your work but u left everything...
dinner is pumpkin soup.. carrot.. beans.. potato.. and veg pasta...

we went a bit fast today... i lost my camera cap... fuh... sayang btol.. tapi mals nak patah balik ... the area is so big... i dont bother trying to find it... although i did try to find it... but suddenly i realized that ... fuh hopeless... this is the last shot that i take before i realized that i lost my camera cap...

Start geophysics... alhamdulillah... kurang sket keje... tapi still banyak keje gak sebenarnye...
i got a good news from a friend... huda got a really good result... alhamdulillah... my best friend nyer result pun alhamdulillah gak... keep up the good work mate...

geophysics again.. we stuck in resistivity.. hehe... then at night they have a night out... get out everybody... i stayed of course... the phone call make me feel as i was at home... hehhehe...

i joined the seismic crew... alhamdulillah.. this is the best day out of the field trip... steve is really fun.. and cool... that night... steve... ashley (a guy) and me do the analysis of the seismic data...

that day i did magnetic reading.. carrying the 5 kilos magnetometer.. but alhamdulillah ... tak dek la berat sgt aku rasa...

fuh last day of the field... we have a field exam... ya Allah permudahkan aku... i had my breakfast... but... its not how much u eat... it is what u eat... i was tired with the egg sandwich then... i decided to only eat plain bread... bijak kan... yeah... and plg bijak skali... tak bawak iron supplement nye tablet...
i almost fainted twice in the field mapping area... i cant stand this anymore... but alhamdulillah im glad everything was over...

heading back to brisbane... miss brisbane... i didnt call anybody to jemput me from the train station.. alah beg aku bukannye berat sgt... tapi sampai je kat train... everybody has their parents waiting for them... kalau yg tak dek parents... ada balak... aku amik beg... blah cepat dari situ... heading back to my house... sampai rumah.. letak beg... bukak komp.... went straigt back to the city... makan kebab... wow... yummy... lahap gile aku makan.. ye la.. 2 minggu tak dpt daging... kalau ada org melayu lalu... lelaki... mmg huh budak nih... reject.. hahahha pedulikkan korang... aku tau aku lapar... 2 minggu aku tak makan daging... skang nih aku nak makan puas2... and alhamdulillah.. aku puas... hehehhe

tunggu huda abih keje.. balik same2...tido....

hari nih

pagi... basuh baju... then gi city... amik gambar... gi beli daging dan ayam... beli sayur... beli barang2 nak buat cake... balik umah.. lepas solat ingatkna nak masak.. tapi bile aku startje susun gambar... sampai huda balik... hehheh aku tak masak lagi... dia bawak balik makanan.. maknenyer aku tak jadi masak hari nih...

tadi buat menda yg aku plg takut nak buat semenjak balik hari tu.. tapi aku kene gak buat... lalu aku pun berdiri la di atas menda yg dipanggil mesin penimbang... ya Allah... betul ke ape yg aku tgk nih... aku turun.. lalu aku berdiri lagi... ya Allah...
aku turun.. aku check menda tu... aku berdiri lagi... aah mmg betul... ya Allah... baru 2 minggu... aku dah turun 4 kilo... berat masa aku form 1 form 2... tu yg cepat2 aku beli daging.. nak masak... its not how much u eat... it is what u eat...

selama 2 minggu... diet aku hanyalah...
breakfast... cereal... wit bix 3 keping... ngan kelloges just right...
lunch... roti.. yg kadang2 aku tak makan sbb penat bekerja... aku jenis kalau penat... tak bleh nak terus makan.. so... end up... lepas abih sumer menda baru nak makan.... first week aku makan sandwich telur... pastu aku tak tahan dah... dah la penat.. makan sandwich telur... aku rase nak muntah... so i asked for plain bread...
dinner... vegetarian meal.. usually sayur yg direbus... aku tak makan menda yg bergoreng... hanya yg dibake dan direbus... shj... jadi...
from the diet.. and the activity i did for 2 weeks ... u can tell the reason of the weight lost... tak kesah laa... insyaallah jgn risau... aku akan jaga makan ... cuti nih...

makin gelap

aku tan dah skarang...hari tu balik mesia dah mmg gelap sket dah... maklumla belajar bawak moto... legam jadinye tangan aku...balik aussie... dah start nak putih sket dah... but unfortunately.. the field trip ruined the process....kesimpulannye.. memandangkan aku ada lagi 3 minggu field trip ke mt isa mine next year... bermakne aku akan jadi hitam balik... tak kesah laa... bukannye leh bawak mati pun putih nih... kan...
