FANATIK

someday last week, I had a discussion with brooke.. about "religous" stuff. She openly said to me.. I hope you'r not offended if Im saying that I dont believe in God.. and what did I say.. "Ohh no.. its your choice for not believing in something and I dont think that I have any right to feel offended"... the world's most dodgiest answer ever... anyway.. then the conversation continues...

Brooke: Yeah.. I hate people when they are so fanatic about their religion. Until.. they kind of go to your home and...
Cik nur:Preaching?
Brooke:exactly
Cik nur: just a quick question. Am I fanatic???
Brooke: No you're not.
and then the conversation continues...

What is fanatic???

bagaikan kilat... when she said that I'm not fanatic.. that means what???? I didnt do my job man.. For almost three years I ve known this girl.. and she thinks that Im not a fanatic???... yeah maybe we have to redefined a definition of fanatic then...

person motivated by irrational enthusiasm (as for a cause); "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject"--Winston Churchill.. marked by excessive enthusiasm for and intense devotion to a cause or idea; "rabid isolationist"

these are some definition that I got fast from the google.. I guess everybody knows right.. fanatic is excessive irrational enthusiasm... basically fanatic is not good... the opposite of fanatic I guess maybe to be MODERATE??? like you r not into something that much.. but you sort of stay on the line...

but then.. what is IRRATIONAL IDEAS?? how can you defined something to be irrational??is there any guidline that has been made maybe by the United Nations about what is rational thing to do in the earth.. years ago.. people might think go to the moon or even flying like a bird is irrational.. the Wright brothers might have gone through hard time when they want to build their first plane.. people said that they were crazy young man who wants to fly.. they are fanatic then.. but nowadays.. flying is not impossible.. go to the Mars is rational... so what is irrational???

Cik nur menyifatkan.. sesuatu yg rational, adalah yg boleh diterima akal. Memandangkan bukan kita yang mencipta akal, maka bukan kita lah org yg terbaik utk tahu apakah fungsi akal sebenarnya. Tp pencipta kita tak tinggalkan kita dengan hanya ciptakan akal kita, then let us think by ourselves what is rational. He provides us with a complete, endless manual. He even provides us with they best instructor ever.

Jadi, semua yg ada dlm Al-Quran itu adalah rational, semua yg ada didalam sunnah itu adalah rational, yup hanya itu yg rational. Basically, anything outside the quran and the sunnah is irrational... therefore it is fanatic... anyone's agree???

Kita selalu menyampah dgn org2 yg berjanggut-janggut, pakai jubah sket2 datang rumah dan ketuk rumah. Ajak org pi masjid... (walaupun cik nur tak pernah diencounter dgn org2 ni tp dpt rasa laa kemenyampahan nya).. kita juga bengang dgn org yg suka call2 org, ajak2 org pi meeting, pi travelling. "Hish budak ni over laa" (baik sikit bunyinya dari fanatic).. Lepas tu kita label2 org2 begini.. "oooo tuu budak2 baik"..

Tanpa kita sedar, sebenarnya jarum musuh2 Islam dah lama masuk dan tertanam dlm hati kita. Preaching other people.. is fanatic about your religion and belief.. Do what ever u have been told to do, is fanatic and melebih...

Padahal kita tak sedar, kita laa yg fanatic because.. we did unrational things.. what are unrational things, things outside the quran and sunnah... we are late to uni.. we are late for our appointment with friends.. this is fanatic, because late is not the true teaching of Islam.. we rather sit in front of the TV and watch rugby (saying this to myself) and 22? mens kicking one ball (this doesnt really apply to aussies.. they only have euro on foxtel).. but still we were dying so hard to sit in front of the TV and watch the game until its finish... how many minutes have we been spending.. sitting around and gabak2 when somebody from the other team nak buat try... we rather do all these than go to our muslim brothers or sisters and ask them "how are you?"

Why.. because we think this is fanatic.. "argghh geli aa lawat2 org nih" ...

So... talking about fanatic again.. Yup frankly speaking I didnt do my job... I never said to any of my coursemates "Be a muslim, Lailah haillah muhammadarrasulullah.. there is no God except the God, and Muhammad is his massenger"... thats it.. the hardest think that I've ever said is...

"I think the trinity concept doesnt make any sense. How can 3 Gods be consider 1 God. And whats the point of God sending himself to the Earth, but finally he wants to forgive our sins.. and whats the point of God just let us be here if he has forgiven all mens sins??" and the answer I got back.... "Yeah you really have a point.. it doesnt even make any sense to me sometimes.. but I thing Im not the best person to talk about this."

Thinking that "silent outreaching" might work. By just showing good akhlak, and trying hard to maintain a good result.. However, this doesnt always work, I'm late to uni, late for appointment, sleep in the class. How can anybody knows the real teaching of Islam, if we are lay back kind of person, who doesnt care about time that much. The prophet himself was the person who had the best akhlak ever at Mekah. people called him al-amin, yet they betrayed him.

How can people know what is the real rational thing to do as a human. If we are afraid of doing the rational thing.. The Prophet himself, has been called a crazy man when he deliver the message of Islam.. So, why are we afraid of being called a crazy foolish person, when we know something is right and rational. Wake up and think, because time is life. The moment you've pass by without thanking Allah for what He has given you, is useless, the moment you've pass by, without doing what u have been told to do is waste of time.. dont make yourself a fanatic.
