Drilling my first well.

This is the analog of our structure. It looks similar like the South Peak of Mount Kinabalu. :)

I've havent post about work long time ago. And yes... insyaAllah we will drill our second well (it's actually my first) soon. Soon means we are spudding tentatively tomorrow. The well will be in Sabah, 100km away to KK. Nervous, scared... those are the main feelings I have right now. But quite glad that I dont have to go to the rig again. Thank you for the baby.

Will there be oil? Banyak ke? Frankly speaking... wallahualam. My gut feelings said, there will be gas insyaAllah. How much? Not sure. As small amount of gas will give similar response to 100% gas in seismic. I hope there is oil under the gas cap. And I hope miracle happens that the oil is trapped in the stratigraphic play. We will be crossing 5 faults. Yes 5. Although its a vertical hole but 5 faults. Hope all operations run smoothly... and nobody get injured.
