picture speaks a thousand words



a pic of a young kid feeding a kitten.. can be viewed as cute.. lovely by some people.. but believe me.. there are somebody out there who thinks this is disgusting....
a picture of a muslim lady wearing a hijab or niqab can be viewed as a devoted muslimah by some people... but others may think that "she needs to be liberated"...

a picture speaks a thousand words... a pic of a young kid in somalia with big head and belly... barefoot... and flies all over his face can bring such an impact to a lot of hearts... but u'll take ages to tell them how are these kids surviving without a picture...

its not just the pic itself... sometimes the "musawair" (photographer).. try to picture it this way.. and wants everybody else to interpret it his way.. but... somebody may came out with different interpretation...

the point here is.... firstly... we have to know how to picture Allah.... we have to know the right picture of Allah... the right view of Allah's attribute... and... we also have to know how to intepret it to ourselves... and digest it in our heart...

the right view of a muslim.. can differentiate between perintah and larangan.... therefore we need to have the right tasawwur of islam... so that we view it as a perfect religion.. beautiful... syumul... indah... menenangkan hati... then comes the iman..
