from kakadu to ranger
Kakadu contains the famous sandstone plateau and escarpment, extensive areas of savanna woodlands and open forest, rivers, waterfalls, billabongs, floodplains, mangroves and mudflats. Since 1979 Kakadu has been expanded on three occasions, each time being successfully nominated for World Heritage listing because of its cultural and spiritual importance to indigenous people, its spectacular scenery, and its biological diversity. Because of Ranger's close proximity to Kakadu and to indigenous heritage sites, extremely careful environmental management of the mine is of paramount importance.
currently we are proposing a project on mapping uranium in kakadu region Northern Territory, Australia. this includes ranger, jabiluka, and konggarra mine... i think it's cool .. cheers
